5.8/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was perfect, allowing me to explore downtown Asheville easily by foot. However, the rooms had a strong smell of smoke mixed with mildew and were quite small, needing the air conditioner to run constantly which made it uncomfortable. The service was friendly but had issues with overbooking and noise, and the dining options were unremarkable and slightly overpriced.

The hotel's location was excellent for exploring downtown Asheville on foot, putting everything within walking distance. However, weekday mornings had commuter traffic affecting accessibility.

6.8/10

Staying at this hotel was comfortable for two nights despite the continuous strong noise coming from the elevator next to our pet-friendly room. We had enough space and didn't feel cramped, but the noise level was a downside.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were comfortable and spacious, allowing us to move around easily without feeling crowded. However, the strong noise coming from the elevator nearby was a bit disturbing.
Service
6.0
The service was a bit mixed - while the cleaning lady was awesome, some staff members were not particularly friendly. We were also informed that booking through a third-party site could lead to being moved in case of overbooking.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient and perfect for our needs, close to downtown and Biltmore. However, it felt overpriced during peak season compared to other nearby options.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good, although it was disappointing not to have more appetizing options. The Moroccan pancakes were a standout, but the lack of variety was noticeable.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had standard facilities with no standout features. However, the absence of complimentary amenities like dry cleaning or welcome drinks was felt.

My stay at this hotel was delightful. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a fridge, albeit a bit dark. The service was friendly and informative, making my stay very pleasant. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Asheville, with comfortable walking distances to various areas. However, the dining experience was subpar, with limited options that seemed understaffed.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, the air conditioner works very well, and they have a cute dinner restaurant attached that carries local craft beer.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and informative, making my experience very accommodating.
